Dear Sir/Madame
We aim to educate the community about these issues through a series of social events which aid in fundraising towards opening “The House that Mothers Built”. Upon successful purchase of this transitional home, the youths that are coming out of the justice system will have a and secure shelter where they may reintegrate themselves into productive members of society.
OUR GOAL FOR 2009 - 2010 is to REACH OUR COMMUNITY TO RAISE $559,000.00 and OPEN THE DOORS OF "THE HOUSE THAT MOTHER'S BUILT" TO AT-RISK YOUTHS and effectIvely treat and re-intrgrate these young adults as productive members of society. "The House That Mother's Built" is a transitional home to be purchased to house teeenagers leaving the justice system who have no place to go for rehabilitation and a place to finally call home. Our mandate is to provide the higest standard of care and counselling to youths (young offenders) and the community at large - regardless of religious preferences, ethnic background, gender and race. Our goal is to teach and counsel individuals how they can break the cycle of violence and addiction that is directly contributing to their self destructive behaviours. Additionally, they will also be taught the nessessary life skills to live more productive lives and thus enabling safer communities for us all.
This is a Community initiative which we are kindly asking your support for. If you would like to support our cause please don't hesitate to contact our office at Tel. (416) 241-9191 or Toll Free 1-800-808-6987 or via email
